Priyanka Chopra’s recent shocking revelations about Bollywood gangs have restarted the conversation on the dark side of Bollywood. People are praising the actress for revealing the actual reason behind leaving Bollywood. Meanwhile, many celebrities from the industry are also coming forward to share their unpleasant experiences. But did you know Aishwarya Rai was once on the radar of this so-called ‘bully gang’ as well?
An old clip of Aish’s interview with Simi Garewal’s is doing the rounds on the internet. In it, Simi asks Aish about SRK and points out how they were supposed to work together in five films, including Veer Zara, but not anymore. To this, Aish replies, “There were a couple of films that were supposed to happen with me. But suddenly they weren’t happening, without any reason whatsoever. I have never had the answer to why.”
Simi further asks if such incidents changed her outlook towards the industry. Aish adds, “You become more aware of what you’ve heard about, like in terms of…situations, people having a dominos effect on another people or another projects. It became obvious that it can happen to me too. With all your apparent box office success or ‘secure positioning’ in the industry.”
Here, take a look at the video:
Aish entered Bollywood after winning the prestigious Miss World pageant in 1994. She took the Indian film industry by storm with her charming smile, unmatchable beauty, and talent. However, after her relationship with Salman Khan took a rough turn, things started going south for the actress. Reports suggest Salman is the reason why she missed out on so many great opportunities!
When Aish Weighed On The Nepotism Debate
A while ago, Aish also shared how she feels Alia Bhatt is lucky to receive support from Karan Johar. She said, “I have said this to her (Alia) also, ‘It’s fantastic for you’. The kind of support Karan has given to her from the beginning, and to have that kind of an establishment with you is very comforting.”
Well, trust Aish to always spit facts!
