Gone Too Soon: Actor Sushant Singh Rajput Allegedly Dies By Suicide In His Bandra Home
In a shocking turn of events, actor Sushant Singh Rajput allegedly died from suicide in his Bandra apartment. A few of Sushant’s friends were also reportedly residing with him and it was only after they got suspicious about him being too quiet that they decided to break his door and barged into the room only to find the 34-year-old actor hanging there. It was Sushant’s servant who informed the police about the suicide.
This heartbreaking news comes within a week of Sushant’s ex-manager Disha Salian, who also died by suicide last week. Disha jumped off her 14th-floor apartment in Mumbai. This is the fourth prominent celebrity that the Indian film industry has lost this year after Irfan Khan, Rishi Kapoor, and Wajid Khan.
While the actor was last seen in Netflix’s Drive, he has had quite an illustrious career in which he delivered some big hits like Kai Po Che, PK, M.S Dhoni, Detective Byomkesh Bakshy, and Shuddh Desi Romance. He was a really talented actor, something can also be ascertained from the fact that he bagged the Best Male Debut Nomination for Kai Po Che and Best Actor Nomination for MS Dhoni. And he managed to attain a great height on the silver screen despite making his acting debut in small screen with hit show Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil.
Besides illustrious acting career, the actor had an impressive academic record to boast of. Not only did he finished his Bachelor of Engineering from the renowned DCE in 2007 and but he also managed a distinction with an overall 7th rank in the college. Sadly, mental health doesn’t hit a person based on their distinctions and achievements.
We have lost a bright star really soon and it indeed is a dark dark day. This heartbreak of a year seems to have no end at all. RIP Sushant! You will live forever in our hearts.
