Hypocritical AF! Why Is Abhinav Shukla Questioning Rubina For Her Friendship With Aly?

It was just last week that Bigg Boss host Salman Khan had called out Abhinav Shukla for failing Rubina Dilaik as a partner. Not gonna lie, it left me pretty pissed as the host went on giving him a sermon on how he needs to “protect” Rubina and be a “good husband.” And while I really did not agree with Salman’s line of thought, I am beginning to agree with Abhinav being kind of a lousy partner part. 

In last night’s episode, Abhinav was seen getting into a pretty heated altercation with Aly Goni. Following this, he got mad at Rubina for sitting with Aly, talking to him, and laughing as if nothing had happened. ‘Tu bhi andar baith ke haha kar rahi hai Aly ke saath. He has disrespected me and you are acting as if nothing has happened,’ he told Rubina.

Now, we can understand how Abhinav might have expected Rubina to cut Aly off after the aggressive spat. However, for someone who takes pride in his logic and reasoning, Abhinav surely missed an important point here. Remember how he continued to be friends with Jasmin Bhasin despite the fact that she was constantly targeting his wife? And through it all, Rubina kept respecting their bond and never showed any objections to the idea of the two of them being friends. 

Needless to say, Abhinav is being pretty hypocritical here. How can he expect Rubina to break ties with Aly just ‘coz he doesn’t get along with him? More importantly, isn’t that too much of an expectation given that he did the exact opposite with Rubina when she was in a similar situation?

Taken aback by Abhinav’s complaint, Rubina also brought the same to his attention and reminded him of how he continued to be pretty close to Jasmin even after she never missed an opportunity of insulting her. “Let me tell you that the same scenario had happened between Jasmin and me. You still had a relationship with Jasmin. I never came and said anything, why are you getting upset? I never got upset when that happened,” she said in her response. 

However, instead of realising, how unreasonable and hypocritical he was actually sounding, Abhinav went on and on with the same rant. Guess all reasons fail in front of the male ego. Honestly, we are disappointed in Abhinav!
