Bass Bhi Karo: Aaradhya Bachchan & Aishwarya Rai Bachchan Get Trolled Once Again

Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her eight-year-old daughter Aaradhya Bachchan have been trolled numerous times over the past few years. Trolls have targetted the mother-daughter duo for the most outrageous reasons, from Aaradhya wearing make-up to the Cannes red carpet to Aaradhya missing school to attend events with her mother.

Recently, Aaradhya was spotted having lunch with parents Aishwarya and Abhishek Bachchan in Mumbai and the picture went viral for all the wrong reasons. In the photo, Aishwarya can be seen affectionately holding her daughter’s hand and guiding her away from the paparazzi. However, trolls have commented saying that the eight-year-old does not need to be held constantly and ‘can walk by herself.’ Sigh, since when is holding your child’s hand a crime?

In an interview with a newspaper, Aishwarya Rai was asked about how these trolls affect her, the actress was quick to respond by saying, she won’t change how she takes care of Aaradhya. She also added that since they are surrounded by photographers, she is bound to be protective of her daughter.

“I react (when cameras come too close). If my arm is around Aaradhya, people will say the mother is very clingy. I hear all this when it is already a couple of days later so it is kind of over. I don’t let it define me. I don’t change how I take care of Aaradhya or how I define myself based on all of this. Judge me for it but I will love her, embrace her. She is my daughter,” the actress stated.

On the work front, the actress was last seen opposite Rajkummar Rao and Anil Kapoor in Fanney Khan. She was also seen walking the red carpet with her daughter at the Cannes Film Festival. Aishwarya Rai will next be seen opposite husband Abhishek Bachchan after eight years in Sarvesh Mewara’s Gulab Jamun.
