Aabha Bakaya had an epiphany while pioneering TV shows about entrepreneurship, Rising Stars and R-Inc. Women professionals were lagging behind because they didn’t have access to resources and referral networks. Not one to sit and watch, Aabha came up with the perfect solution. In 2018, she launched Ladies Who Lead, a community to empower, encourage, and enable women visionaries. Aabha started the members-only club to ensure deserving women got a seat on the table. As a seasoned journalist and founding employee at NDTV Profit, and ET NOW, she quickly built a community of like-minded entrepreneurial women. With notable members like–Malika Sadani, Founder & CEO, The Moms Co., Anjali Singh, MD, Deutsche Bank, Tara Singh Vachani, Executive Chairperson, Antara Senior Living, Sakshi Chopra, MD, Sequoia Capital, and Preeta Sukhtankar, CEO & Founder, The Label Life–Ladies Who Lead is one of the biggest community for women leaders!

Power Move

Ladies Who Lead, raised seed funding from industry leader and entrepreneur Aditya Ghosh in 2021. Aabha has directed the funds to organise monthly panels, talks, and get-togethers for the members. These experiences are helping the LWL members to network, prompt themselves, and grow. In 2022, Aabha along with Naiyya Saggi, Co-Founder, Good Glamm Group, also led the #ChangingTheNarrative initiative in partnership with the Good Glamm Group, Invest India and LiveMint. She played a pivotal part in creating the list of 100 women building and shaping India. It would be interesting to see the next leap that Aabha takes with her thriving community of women visionaries!
