A ZNMD Sequel Featuring A Stellar All-Women Cast Is In The Works & We Can’t Contain Our Excitement!
Everyone has that one film that they never get tired of watching, and mine happens to be Zindagi Na Milege Dobara. According to me, it’s the ultimate travel movie ever made. The perfect star cast, an epic road trip in Spain, catchy songs, the dosti— ZNMD is emotional and entertaining at the same time. No wonder it has such a massive fan following, even after all these years!
However, it’s been a decade since the movie was released and we’ve been waiting for the second part of ZNMD for way too long. Well, it turns out *drumroll* the sequel is finally happening! Zoya Akhtar and Farhan Akhtar are all set to make another road trip flick, titled Jee Le Zaraa, although there’s no official confirmation on whether it’s the ‘sequel’ to ZNMD. Written by the talented sibling duo and Reema Kagti, the movie is being produced by Reema, Zoya, Farhan, and Ritesh Sidhwani. The announcement couldn’t have come at a better time, because the pandemic has left us all yearning for travel again.
If you’re as excited as we are then hold on, because it gets even better. The upcoming movie is going to feature an all-girls road trip! And the best part? The epic star cast features A-list actresses like Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Katrina Kaif, and Alia Bhatt. Wow, watching these three phenomenal leading ladies share screen space together is gonna be exciting AF!
Farhan and Zoya even shared a fun promo on their ‘gram earlier today, announcing JLZ. Check it out here!
Oh boy, we can’t tell you how excited we are at the ATM! Here’s hoping we get a release date soon so we can mark our calendars. Also, wouldn’t it be interesting to watch the OG gang of Farhan, Hrithik Roshan, and Abhay Deol make a small cameo in JLZ? Damn, that would be something else! Here’s hoping Farhan and Zoya are reading this!
