Water Baby: A Complete Guide To Having Sex In The Pool, Shower Or The Beach

Monsoons are at their peak and the amazing weather has pumped in some energy in all of us to get out of the zone and you know, have some fun? We’re talking of sex in the water! Whether it’s replicating Raveena’s sultry moves in Tip Tip Barsa Paani or getting influenced by the hot tub make-out scene in ‘To All the Boys I’ve Ever Loved Before’, there is something fascinating about sex in the rain, pool or the beach.

While there are a lot of challenges, you cannot ignore the fact that having sex in or around a water body can be extremely liberating. But what are these challenges that keep people from trying it out? Let’s find out!

Sex In A Pool

Pros

It is easy to have sex in a pool for many reasons. One of them is that you have a lot of area to move around. Plus, your body waist down is not even clearly visible. A quick sesh in a private pool should totally be on your sex wishlist!

Cons

Having sex in a pool can be unhygienic given that you’re not sure how often the authorities clean the pool. The chances of contracting an infection are higher and you need to be sure that you’re in a secure area to avoid any violations.

Sex At The Beach

Here are the pros and cons of having sex at the beach.

Pros

The feeling of being one with nature is quite liberating! The whole idea of doing it out in the open can be very exciting and can be a big reason to feel the rush that you need in order to get down and dirty.

Cons

Just as in the case of a pool, beach water also comes with no guarantee of being clean. You also gotta be sure that it’s not a risky or high tide area. As for the shore, the sand can cause friction and you can end up with rashes!

Sex In The Bathtub

Here are the pros and cons of having sex in a bathtub.

Pros

Bathtub time with your partner can be an alternative to meditation. This will give you a chance to explore your sexuality and to experiment with things that you will not be able to otherwise. You can even set the mood right with scented candles and a bottle of wine!

Cons

A bathtub is relatively a smaller space to have sex in. Your position and your movements will be quite restricted and adding bubbles or essential oils to your ‘moment’ can do more harm than good. There are chances of contracting a UTI with these added elements.

Shower Sex

Here are the pros and cons of having sex in the shower.

Pros

Shower sex can be a great way to experiment with standing positions. You can also enjoy a prolonged wet time with your partner without worrying about being disturbed by anyone. Also, if period sex is not your thing, sex in the shower can be reserved for those days… It just reduces the after-act mess!

Cons

Water can wash away your own natural lubrication so keeping a lube handy is a must. Also, shower sex restricts experimenting with positions and can sometimes lead to accidents due to the slippery surface.

So, which of these positions are you trying out tonight? *wink*
