Blackheads Bothering You? Try This Simple 6 Step Routine To Get Rid Of Them Quickly

Tired of those pesky blackheads? It’s a hard relate from our side too. Blackheads are deeply rooted dirt which gets collected in the pores that can often be painful and are totally not welcome. To remove a blackhead is a whole process, and if done wrong, it can lead to breakouts that aren’t easy to get rid off. While it shows up as dark spots which are bumpy, it is possible to draw out the blackheads without having to resort to the facial lady and her poky tools. Here is a whole week’s skincare routine to approach blackheads head on.

6 Step Routine To Draw Out Blackheads

Step 1: Draw Out The Dirt

To double up the cleansing action to remove blackheads, you can start with an oil-absorbing mask. Rinse your face with water and indulge in a bentonite clay mask or a charcoal clay mask.

Step 2: Cleanse & Exfoliate

After the oil-absorbing mask, cleanse and exfoliate your skin with mild products. An oil-based cleanser followed by a mild scrub will help clear skin completely and even loosen up the blackhead in the pores. Keep exfoliation to once or twice a week and not more than that.

Step 3: Peel It Off

The best way to ensure your double cleanse routine is effective on your blackhead, follow up with a peel-off mask. The peel-off mask will pull out any dirt that is left behind on the skin’s surface after exfoliation. Make sure to spritz on a hydrating facial mist before applying the peel-off mask.

Step 4: Hydrate With A Sheet Mask

The cleansing action and peel-off mask could leave your skin prone to sensitivity. Therefore it is important to deeply nourish and hydrate your skin. A sheet mask will do exactly that. Make sure to choose a moisturising sheet mask with skin soothing ingredients like aloe vera or hyaluronic acid.

Step 5: Try Chemical Exfoliation

Chemical exfoliation once a week can help remove dead skin cells and shrink pores. If you have acne-prone skin try BHAs which have keratin-dissolving products like salicylic acid or willow bark extract. If you have dry skin then chemical exfoliation with AHAs are better suited. Make sure to follow the instructions to the T when using these products.

Step 6: Invest In A Blackhead Suction Tool

These face suction tools are great to directly pull out impurities from your pores. They even come with interchangeable heads for different areas of your face. Make sure to use this tool after cleansing and use a sheet mask to close your pores after using the tool.

Now that you know all the steps to remove blackheads quickly, you don’t have to worry much about these skin invaders anymore.
