Isolated At Home, Anxious & Lonely? Try These 9 Tips To Feel Better

According to our healthcare workers, it is safer for someone to isolate themselves at home if they have contracted the virus and have mild symptoms. They should consult their doctors via telecommunication and keep a track of their recovery process. While their isolation period can last from 7 to 21 days, these few weeks become one of the toughest phases of their lives.

Fighting a deadly virus is not easy. And doing that while being cooped up in a room all by yourself definitely makes things harder. Your thoughts can run awfully wild and take you to some really dark places that nobody wants to visit. Having stayed in isolation myself, I can imagine how anxious, scared and lonely one may feel. The biggest mistake I made during my isolation period was that I didn’t take care of my skin for almost a week. And, on the 8th day when I indulged in some skincare, I felt as if Hermoine Granger had waved her wand at me herself. My constant sense of dullness disappeared into thin air (like magic) and I finally felt like myself. So, pamper your skin and even apply some makeup because believe it or not, it can be therapeutic.
