The Expert Promoting Fitness For All
Zoe Modgill is India’s leading fitness expert, and is the founder of Studio60. Armed with a degree in graphic design, it was Modgill’s passion for fitness that led her to turn it into a full-time career. When the pandemic forced her studio to shut down, Modgill was quick to pivot to an online business model. She started online classes to keep people motivated, and even posted workouts on her Instagram handle. Through her programme ‘Stronger with Zoe’, she started helping women online from across the globe achieve their fitness goals.
Zoe Modgill’s 2020 Power Move
In 2020, as the fitness industry suffered tremendously as gyms shut down, Modgill was quick to adjust to the new normal. She packed her bags and shifted her base from Delhi to Goa, only to reinvent Studio60 as a virtual fitness brand. The shift inspired her to be even more creative with her workout and fitness plans. During the lockdown, she started free live workout sessions on her Instagram handle. Equipment or no-equipment, she got India moving with her customised fitness plans. The most inspiring part was that she ensured her sessions were inclusive–so that people over 50 and kids could also join in. Modgill’s commitment to keeping India fit during a global health crisis is commendable. And now as virtual fitness becomes a burgeoning market, Modgill continues to create new programmes to help people become fit while using minimal equipment.
