Once a year, like thousands of women in the country, our B-Town wives fast for an entire day for the long lives of their husbands, and eat only once the moon appears. Yes, we are talking about Karva Chauth. Generally, we see a lot of buzz in Bollywood families (courtesy social media) where the ladies get together to throw Karva Chauth parties and perform the puja together. By the end of the day, we get a glimpse of these gorgeous wives gazing at their husbands through the strainer and finally break their long fast. Some couples even break their fast together, which makes our heart go awww!
This year, Karva Chauth is a lot more subdued, thanks to the ongoing pandemic. However, our stars are celebrating the occasion with precautions and sharing some glimpses of their KC preparations.

No folks, Kiara Advani did not suddenly get married overnight. She is still very much unmarried, even though we’re not sure if she is single. Kiara was actually helping her mother with her KC prep. She posted the sweetest picture on her Instagram handle, where she was seen applying mehndi on her mother’s hand. She drew a simple flower and wrote what looks like ‘TINU’ on her hand. Take a look!
Shilpa Shetty & Raj Kundra
The fans love to watch Shilpa Shetty on Karva Chauth every year. She glows like the moon herself, dolls up gorgeously, attends KC parties like a pro, does all the puja, and by the end of the day, both Shilpa and Raj Kundra break their fasts together. She might not be attending any parties this year but she gave her fans an insight on her preparations. She updated stories of the Karva Chauth set gifted by Bhavna Jasra and her sargi fruits.
Raj, on the other hand, made everything even more interesting with his #RajFuntra. He made a meme of their last year’s KC and compared it to ‘what men think women see on KC vs. what women actually see’. Honestly? It’s super hilarious! Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover have been married for almost four years now, and celebrate the day by fasting together. Bips shared her post from last year where the couple actually broke their fasts on the street! We believe this year KSG and Bipasha will get all the time in the world to perform the rituals at home. Though we wouldn’t complain if we get more such adorable videos!

Just like Shilpa, Raveena Tandon also celebrates this special day every year with love and grace. Raveena posted a series of selfies on her Instagram handle, sporting a light pistachio green suit with floral dupatta.
