Dr. Sheth’s Basic Brightening Vitamin Glotion
I don’t really follow a very product-heavy skincare routine and have long relied on organic, natural skincare options. However, during the lockdown, I decided to try a hyped skincare product just out of curiosity. Dr Sheths is one of those brands that I have heard a lot about and thought of giving it a try, given that it has been specially created for Indian skin. I purchased their Basic Brightening Vitamin Glotion and boy, did it alter the entire skincare experience for me! The product glides on effortlessly, sits light on the skin, improves the skin texture, and gives you a healthy glow. I am on my second bottle now and love love LOVE this product!

Pure Earth’s Wild Seaberry Supercritical Oil
I don’t have an elaborate skincare regime but for the past one year, I had been looking for an essential face oil that would work on my skin, without causing any issues. It took a while to find the ideal one but Pure Earth’s Wild Seaberry Supercritical Oil is the holy grail of skincare products. It’s smooth, ultralight, and doesn’t feel sticky, while working wonders on my skin. And there’s just no looking back after using it even once!

L’Oreal Paris UV Perfect Super Aqua Essence SPF 50
My skincare routine is very minimal, and I like to stick to cult classics. Once I’ve found my product, I will use it till the company stops manufacturing it (or till I die, whichever comes first). So while I found most of my favourite basics, from a face cleanser to the perfect moisturiser, I was still on the lookout for a good sunscreen. I had tried them all–from the cult Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch to French pharmacy ones. And I hated them all. That was before I randomly stumbled across the L’Oreal Paris UV Perfect Super Aqua Essence SPF 50 while buying another product online. People described it as light, watery, and essence-like, and I was sold. I know there are a lot of cult-classics out there, but this one feels light, doesn’t get sticky for my oily skin and gives me great sun protection! Also, did I mention it acts as a perfect base for makeup? Yeah, I’m never going back (unless you find me a better product, of course *wink*)

PIXI Glow Tonic
Skincare is about a lot more than just cleansing and moisturising. And because I have extremely dry and sensitive skin, I prefer repairing my skin overnight. If there is one product that has helped me do that in 2020, it is the Pixi Glow Tonic. On the surface, it is pretty much a regular toner, but trust me, it has not-so-regular effects on the skin. After just 3 applications, I could see my skin glow from within. And I am not exaggerating at all! It might be slightly heavy on the pocket, but is definitely a worthy investment. The best part is that it is great for all skin types.

The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% Serum
I have always been into very minimal skincare–I’ve got to admit I don’t look after my skin as much as I should, but all that has changed during the lockdown. I’ve regularly been using face masks, sheet masks and now even follow a proper CTM routine. (It’s a big deal for me). The one product that I’ve been loving in 2020 is The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% serum because it’s incredible for people with oily skin. It has visibly minimised my pores and has given my complexion an even tone. It has also regulated the sebum production, so my skin is mattified for longer. It has no added fragrance and is a very potent serum, so it truly does what it says.
