On August 8, Tollywood’s most eligible bachelor, Rana Daggubati tied the knot with Miheeka Bajaj in an intimate wedding ceremony owing to the COVID-19 social distancing norms. With the groom clad in a dhoti-kurta set and the bride in an elegant ivory lehenga, the couple looked straight off the sets of a movie. While we completely adored the looks donned by the new bride on all her pre-wedding functions, we’re blown away by the way she looked at the wedding. With the show-stopping lehenga and equally stunning makeup, Miheeka oozed poise and we cannot stop drooling over her look.
For her pheras, Miheeka chose a cream and gold lehenga designed by Anamika Khanna. It’s a hand-done zardosi with the finest form of chikankari that took 10,000 man-hours to make. The outfit was teamed with a woven gold dupatta and a coral red veil.

The new bride accentuated the gorgeous creation with statement jewellery from her mother’s brand Krsala Jewellery.
She trusted Tamanna Rooz for her makeup for all the functions, and we must say that she did a brilliant job. Recently, decoding Miheeka’s regal bridal look, she told a media portal that she made sure that Miheeka’s makeup is a reflection of her chirpy and fun-loving personality.
Miheeka’s Makeup Deets!
Miheeka’s traditional look comprised mainly of earthy tones. With the aim of accentuating the bride’s true inner self, Tamanna gave her an elegant and graceful look. The pre-wedding functions were kept soft, angelic and dewy while for the wedding “we went all glam and Bollywoodish”, said Tamanna.
The MUA gave the bride a fresh and natural look while highlighting her beautiful eyes. “I played with matte bronze hues on the eyelids with soft gradation on the crease with a hint of the soft smudged eyeliner”, she added.
A lip shade matching her heavily embroidered coral veil and kohl-rimmed eyes completed the bridal look.
Miheeka‘s hair was tied in a neat bun that accentuated her maathapatti beautifully. “Clean makeup with a hint of traditionalism is what we went for”, Tamanna shared.
The pandemic will definitely see a shift in the wedding culture with smaller, intimate gatherings gaining popularity. Outfits will be less elaborate, makeup will be subtle and the overall vibe of the festivities will be relaxed. If you too are planning a wedding anytime this year, Miheeka’s bridal looks should be right up there on your mood board!
