These smoothie recipes won’t only improve your skin’s complexion but also make you feel energetic and ready to take on the day!
1. Pumpkin Spice
Pumpkins are easily available in the market. The next time you go grocery shopping, make sure that you pick a chunk for yourself. Each slice is loaded vitamin A, C and E and is rich in antioxidants. If you have sensitive skin and often suffer from redness and itchiness, drink pumpkin juice as it contains zinc and potassium.
Step 1: In a blender, add 1 cup of chopped pumpkin cubes.
Step 2: Half a cup of yoghurt
Step 3: 2 tbsp of flaxseeds and a handful of ice cubes
Step 4: Turn on the blender and pour the smoothie into a strainer.
Step 5: Pour into a glass later and drink chilled.
2. Spinach Delight

Sure, paneer is more delicious than spinach, but palak loves your skin more. Spinach is a fantastic source of iron, Vitamin E, magnesium, Vitamin A, fibre, plant protein and Vitamin C. It will not only clear your skin out but also bring back a soft glow to dull and tired skin.
Step 1: Add 3 cups of spinach leaves and 1 cup of chilled milk into a blender. You could use any type of milk you consume – almond, soy or even regular milk works fine.
Step 2: Chop 1 banana into tiny pieces and add into the blender.
Step 3: Add half a cup of frozen berries (strawberries, mulberries, blueberries – whichever you have at home) and add 1 tbsp of chia seeds
Step 4: Turn on the blender and strain it.
Step 5: Serve chilled and enjoy!
3. Carrot Masti
The beta-carotene in carrots reduces inflammation and helps skin recover faster when wounded. Not only do carrots improve eyesight, but also contain Vitamin C which is beneficial for your skin.
Step 1: Peel 3 carrots and dice them into fine pieces.
Step 2: Add 1 tsp of flaxseeds, 1 tbsp of cream cheese, 1 tsp of cinnamon powder
Step 3: Add ice cubes and half a cup of milk.
Step 4: Blend all the ingredients well
Step 5: Pour the smoothie into a glass and enjoy!
4. Cucumber Love

Summer is just around the corner and that is an indicator that your skin is prone to getting dehydrated. Which is why you must drink plenty of water and double up that moisturising game, making a cucumber smoothie also helps. After all, it is rich in Vitamin C and caffeic acid. Make sure you leave the skin on, as all the nutrients are in there!
Step 1: Add 2 cups of baby spinach into the blender
Step 2: 1 tall glass of cucumber chunks, a scoop of vanilla
Step 3: Half cup of avocado pulp and a handful of mint leaves.
Step 4: Blend all the ingredients until smooth.
Step 5: Enjoy with ice!
5. Beetroot Fantasy
Beetroot does a great job at purifying your blood, clearing blemishes and evening out your skin. It’s also rich in Vitamin C that helps gives your skin that healthy glow.
Step 1: Peel and chop 1 beetroot and toss it into a blender
Step 2: Peel and chop 1 apple and add into a blender
Step 3: Add a cup of carrot juice with 1 cup of almond milk.
Step 4: Add 1 piece of ginger and turn on the blender.
Step 5: Serve chilled and enjoy!
