Cool, smart and all things unabashedly sassy, Kareena Kapoor Khan sure knows a thing (or two!) about holding everyone’s collective attention. The actress launched the all-new party collection at the Forever 21 store at the Orion Mall in Bangalore and from the moment she entered the venue, the massive crowds stationed outside erupted into cheer! Kareena charmed, smiled and on more than one occasion, gave us a view of that ‘main apni favourite hoon’ wit.
Dressed in a pair of black ripped jeans and a graphic t-shirt, Bebo looked stunning, but that’s a given, of course, keeping in mind her good looks! It would have been impossible to not ask her about all things style, along with the last thing she splurged on and her handbag essentials. So, we did just that and the answers were exactly what one would expect from the one and only, Kareena Kapoor Khan.

What do you think about the all-new party collection at Forever 21 ?
Well, it’s great because it’s the perfect time; it’s the end of December when things are festive and celebratory. There is a bit of shimmer and shine which everyone loves! And the collection has all of that; it’s relatable, wearable and equal parts cool and chic.
What’s your go-to outfit for the party season?
Since it’s winter and there is a slight nip in the air, for me it would have to be a pair of nice jeans, teamed with boots and a cool black jumper.
How would you define your personal style?
For me, it’s always been about keeping it comfortable because I am not into something that is extremely elaborate and heavy. So a cool t-shirt and ripped jeans with a pair of boots or sneakers does it for me.
Who would you pick as the most stylish character you have played on screen?
I don’t think there is just one, for there are many of them that have been stylish, be it Poo from K3G [Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham] or my characters in Kambakkht Ishq or Jab We Met for that matter.
What do you prefer, online shopping or visiting the store?
There is something lovely about going to a store and trying out the clothes and accessories first hand. It’s a lot of fun when you make a day out of it with your group of girls.
What was the last piece of clothing you splurged on?
The last? I haven’t shopped in a while actually. Maybe I should do that now.

It would have to be my mobile, my attitude and my good looks!
