It is amazing how brides these days are changing the rules! They are trying unique new things to make it their most special day and it is inspiring. Today’s story is of a bride who decided to smash the shackles of patriarchy on her wedding day by breaking stereotypes in her own style.
Jagriti Sachdeva, or as everyone calls her Penny, got married in Mussoorie’s JW Marriott Walnut Grove Resort. And she’s making headlines today because she entered her wedding on a ghodi and had a full-on baraat dancing alongside her – basically, she did everything that the groom’s side usually does! Now that’s what you call an entry.
Mazel Tov! They are going to be equals in this marriage so why not enter as equals too? Although the groom, Kush Agarwal, didn’t enter the typical way either. Instead, he came in a vintage car. Take a look at the pictures of the bride’s badass entry:

This is not it in today’s episode of ‘What a cool bride she is’. Penny and her new husband Kush happen to be huge Game of Thrones fans. So she decided to include the House sigils for House Stark and House Lannister in her mehendi design.
The fangirl in me is happy for two reasons now.
