Kylie Jenner‘s makeup brand is under scrutiny once again. In 2016, Kylie cosmetics was sued by a makeup artist for using her imagery for an Instagram campaign. The reality TV star turned makeup beauty mogul’s brand, Kylie Cosmetics is now being accused by Sheree cosmetics for copying their ‘Born To Sparkle’ slogan to name her eyeshadow. A slogan was sent by Sheree to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in August 2018 and is still pending approval.
In addition to this, Sheree Cosmetics also stated in their report that Kylie Cosmetics had copied their slogan style packaging for their eyeshadow palette. They said, “inherently distinctive packaging, including the imprinting of quotations in the products,” would be misleading to the purchasers since it is Sheree’s style of cosmetics.
Kylie is yet to respond to the allegations being made and share a public statement about the same.
