The section 377 verdict has been the end to the war between love and stigma, and we are super glad that love won. The happiness of LGBTQ+ community knows no bounds as its members were congratulated globally on moving forward. A big part of the community are trans-women and men who have been facing social disparity, prejudice and not to mention, name calling through the years. Tired of it all, these transgender beauties who are SO OVER the social stigma, have been and will be breaking stereotypes. We think they are so gorgeous that it’s time we redefine our definition of charm and elegance.

Kolkata-based Nitasha Biswas and India’s very first ‘Trans Queen’ is looking so gorgeous in this yellow saree paired with a yellow bindi and a nath. She captioned her post, “Feeling like a goddess,” which, indeed, she looks like too.
“From a very young age, I knew I was a gender dysphoria. I knew I wanted to change this, but at the same time, I knew I needed to complete my basic education,” she told a tabloid during an interview. Her sex change operation was followed by periods of loneliness as her father, her only parent, also stopped talking to her for some time. However, it’s all rainbows now that she has won the pageant and has been accepted by her family.

Another trans beauty is Shivali Chhetri, who also underwent seclusion and ostracisation following her transformation.
Mona Varonica Campbell
The last one on our list is India’s only plus-size transgender model, Mona Varonica Campbell. She is breaking stigmas associated not just with the LGBTQ+ community but also around body shaming. You slay, girl!
