Having a long luscious mane is the dream and while most of us do have the length sometimes the hair quality is not that great. So here we have some superfoods that would make sure your hair is super healthy and voluminous too.
1. Spinach
Spinach is a great source of iron, the deficiency of which might be causing hairfall in the first place. It also contains sebum which acts as a natural conditioner for the hair. Put it in a salad or a smoothie and let it do its work!

2. Eggs
Eggs are enriched with biotin, which helps hair grow and also strengthens brittle nails. This one is multipurpose, you can use the whites in a hair mask and even eat them for healthy hair.

3. Nuts
Walnuts, in particular, contains biotin and also contains oils that add elastin to your hair. It helps keep your hair supple and smooth. Other nuts like almonds and pistachios contain fatty acids and other essential oils. Chomp on that trail mix to healthy hair.
4. Seeds
A lot of the seeds are rich in vitamins and zinc that aid in healthy hair growth. Just sprinkle some sunflower seeds over your next salad or yoghurt bowl!
5. Lentils
Lentils are hidden sources of protein, iron, zinc, and biotin which are all essential nutrients for your hair. Other than that they are also rich in folic acid; it restores the health of red blood cells which in turn ensures that oxygen reaches your scalp.
6. Carrots
Carrots are rich in Vitamin A that acts as a natural conditioner and prevents your hair from breaking. It also helps your eyes, so really this is a double whammy!
7. Salmon
Hair needs protein to grow new strands. Protein is also important to generate keratin which coats the hair and makes it healthy. Salmon is known to be the most protein-rich superfood.
These are things that you ingest, so please do not expect them to work tomorrow. It takes a while for this goodness to yield results, but when it does, it’s all worth the effort.
