It’s #FashionFriday and Shraddha Kapoor is making it a good one for us. The Bollywood starlet is done with promotions for her soon-to-be-released film Stree and began another round for Batti Gul Meter Chalu today.
Even though Shraddha Kapoor has not been wowing us with her outfits lately, today was a total 180! We are absolutely mad for the dress Tanya Ghavri styled Shraddha in.
And why wouldn’t we be? The vibe we’re getting is ‘high tea snack at a colonial mansion in the blooming countryside’. Yes, Shraddha, your blush pink and ivory mini dress reminds us of a classic English dessert called strawberries and cream. Girls, you can see it, can’t you?
Shraddha’s dress does have all the makings of the perfect champagne brunch look. Although, we would wear it to bed if we could – it is all in the details. The Zimmerman dress has a plunging neckline and crochet strips.
It also has the most dreamy floral print AND embroidery, the kind that makes you want summer to never end.
Let’s not stop there. The bell sleeves are a statement detail, which lends a fun touch to the dress. So are the subtle frills on the hemline of this delicate embroidered piece.
Doesn’t it seem like the dress was tailor-made for Shraddha? It hugs her in all the right places, flaring ever so slightly at the hemline. We’re glad that Shraddha went with chic yet simple white ankle-strap sandals… Don’t they look great?
All in all, Shraddha Kapoor looks like a sweet snack we would like to magically appear on our office desks right now. Here’s hoping there’s more where this came from. Guess we’ll just have to wait and watch, won’t we?
