We’re no strangers to the glory associated with a Madame Tussauds statue. These museums pan all over the globe. It was started by Marie Tussaud, who came up with the concept of making wax statues of celebrities and attract common people to click pictures with them.
Not very long ago, India established its first Madame Tussauds museum in the capital city. With wax statues of various famous celebrities from all fields, the museum has become a popular attraction.
On Wednesday, Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli’s wax statue was unveiled. We all know how cricket is like a religion in our county, which clearly makes cricketers no less than Gods. The fans went crazy and the museum experienced heavy footfall. Given Virat Kohli’s immense fan following, things got a little out of control.
Visitors ended up damaging the wax statue while clicking selfies. Officials said that Virat’s right ear got a little damaged had to be taken away within a day. But it has been repaired and brought back to the museum.
Time for another selfie?
