Arguably Bollywood’s most beloved couple, DeepVeer have been giving us some major #CoupleGoals for so long now. They’ve sizzled on-screen being each other’s Ram-Leela and Padmini-Khilji but their real-life affair is what we live for.
These two have been very vocal about their PDA and love for each other time and time again. A lovelorn Ranveer has even shown his deep devotion to DP by commenting on her stunning pictures without fail. Yes, we can’t help but root for this perfect jodi.
After Sonam and Anand‘s grand wedding, there were rumours afloat that the next pair to tie the knot will be Deepika and Ranveer. One report even said that their date has been fixed for the 19th of November this year. Guys, save the date cause this one is going to be one for the ages!

If sources are to be relied upon then the Gully Boy star has informally told his friends in the industry that he will be a happily married man by the end of this year. It is even said that the Om Shanti Om diva has told her team not to be on leave during that time period. From makeup artists, to her manager and even her team of publicists are told to be present at that time.
According to the latest reports, Deepika will be shifting to her in-laws’ house post her wedding. Ranveer currently stays in Khar, Mumbai and it is believed that the Bhavnani clan has bought two more floors in the same apartment. In fact, apartment work is going on in full swing and DP is overseeing it herself.
Another thing to cheer about for DeepVeer fans is that the alleged bride-to-be was seen shopping for jewellery with her mother. She has apparently selected the peices for her bridal ensemble and we can’t wait to see her dazzle us.
Even social media seems to give us some hints as the Padukone and Bhavnani families seem to have started following each other there. Deepika’s younger sister, Anisha recently started following Ranveer and DP herself has started following to be mother-in-law Anju Bhavnani. Oh, we see it happening!
However, something to be noted is that neither Deepika nor Ranveer have officially announced their union. When asked about the big day, Ranveer said, “It is the function of speculation – to exist. Nothing is official till it is made official and I am not a seer. I cannot say this will happen on this date in the future. Right now, we are both extremely busy working. Besides, she is also recuperating from back problems. So, we are quite occupied and distracted. So, if there is any announcement in the future, you will be hearing me shouting from the rooftops.”
Even Deepika had made a statement when asked about this particular topic, she said, “When it is time, I’ll know that it is the right time. I think as an institution, it is extremely important. That’s the way I have been brought up. It is extremely important for me to see myself like that. It is every girl’s dream. I have always followed my instinct and I know that I will feel it when I am ready and when it’s meant to happen.”
With all these signs pointing to a big, fat, Bollywood wedding though, we can’t help but get excited. Deepika Ranveer just prove that even out of the movies, things like true love and forever does exist and the Bolly buff in us is going all gushy-mushy! ❤
