The black smokey, brown smokey, spider lashes, multiple eyeliner styles – there are so many eye products and styles out there, that we makeup junkies are spoilt for choice, and how! Personally, (and I will be honest here) I take inspiration from our Bollywood celebrities. They have an extremely capable and skilled makeup team working on them who follow all the latest trends and make these celebs look like real divas. So, it’s only natural that when I feel a tad bit experimental and want to try something different on my eyes, I rummage through the Instagram profiles of celebrities and their makeup artists to draw inspiration (and of course, look beautiful!). Here are the posts I found, and trust me ladies, they will be your go-to summer eye makeup looks and make you look like a celebrity yourself.
1. Lime And Lemony
This one’s giving us all the enchanted forest feels. The lime green eyelids aren’t everyone’s cup of tea, but Sonam here sure is pulling them off well. The slight wing with that highly pigmented eyeshadow is pure eye makeup goals! Dab on some of that green and look like a celeb yourself this summer.
2. Winged Out And Wonderful
No one does the classic wing better than Deepika Padukone. The prolonged ends with that jet black liquid eyeliner – you’ve just got to practice this one and ace it like the Bolly queen!
3. A Hint Of Tint, Anyone?
A neutral eyeshadow, black eyeliner, and tons of mascara – this one’s a no brainer and it suits everyone. For a simple and classic look on a summer evening, we suggest you go for this eye makeup look.
4. Mascara Is MAGIC
If you want to go sans makeup given how hot summer days are, we suggest you keep just one product handy – the humble mascara! Put at least two coats of it to really open up your eyes and look effortlessly beautiful!
5. Kohl It Up
If all else fails, there is always the good ol’ kajal! Take a cue from Malaika Arora Khan here and use a generous amount of kohl around your upper and lower lashline. This will give your eyes a lot of definition and make you look oh so “eye-striking”! *Wink*
6. Clean And Fresh
If you’re blessed with lovely almond-shaped eyes like Janhvi Kapoor, then all you need to rock this summer is a little bit of eyeliner and some mascara. This accentuates the eye shape and gives a naturally beautiful look. If ‘less is more’ is your mantra, then you must go for this look.

7. Brows With A Bang
You have no idea how much of a difference filled in eyebrows can make to your look. Look at Shilpa Shetty Kundra here and see for yourself. Get your fave eyebrow pencil and fill them in with multiple short and soft strokes for a more real and stunning look. You’ve got to try it to believe it.
