Finally, the marriage dates for Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja are official. After several speculations on their wedding dates and plans, yesterday the Kapoor and Ahuja family released an official statement confirming Sonam’s wedding. Both the families announced the wedding will take place on May 8 in Mumbai.

There were reports of Sonam and Anand opting for e-invites as the couple finds hand delivered cards a major waste of paper. A nature theme with green and blue as the main colours, the card reflects their train of thought.
Each occasion has a dress code to be followed. The Mehendi ceremony, which is on May 7, has an Indian Festive – Shades Of White theme. With the mehendi function usually being full of colours, it’s no surprise that Sonam decided to be different and opted for shades of white instead!
For the wedding, which is slated on May 8, will see the stars in traditional Indian attire. The rituals will happen at Rockdale, Bandra which is Sonam’s aunt’s heritage bungalow.
Keeping it chic and classy the dress code for the reception party is Indian or Western formal. The glitzy evening will be held at The Leela, Mumbai and we’re certain that we’ll see most of the Bollywood brigade at this event.
