The tragic demise of Sridevi earlier this year shook the nation. A few days later, her daughter Jahnvi Kapoor shared a heartfelt message with her fans, talking about her mother and the bond they had. Jahnvi and her sister Khushi stood by each other and and the entire Kapoor clan supported the daughters. Their love was apparent at Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja’s wedding.

Today, Jahnvi gave us another glimpse into the relationship she shared with her mom. On the occasion of Mother’s Day, she posted an unseen photo of herself and mom Sridevi from her childhood days.

Janhvi and mom Sridevi are both twinning in this picture, wearing dungarees. Janhvi, without any doubts, was an adorable child and she now looks like a reflection of her mum. In fact, in a photo from the set of her first movie Dhadak, Jahnvi had an uncanny resemblance to her mother. The first look of her, in a saree, reminded us of the Mr India actress.
We saw Sridevi in her again when Janhvi wore her mother’s saree to receive the National Award posthumously on behalf of her mother, for Best Actor for her exemplary performance in Mom.
The icon is loved by fans all over the world. Thus, Sridevi is also being honoured at the 71st Cannes Film Festival for her immense contribution to the Indian film industry. She will be the India’s first female actor to be felicitated with this award. The special event is to be held on the 16th May at the Le Majestic Beach and will showcase the actor’s best performances to the audience.
