The Royal wedding saw newlyweds Prince Harry and the Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle break a number of traditions, but there still are certain elements of the wedding that was every bit royal! Queen Elizabeth II has had a favourite nail colour that she’s been wearing for the last 29 years and Meghan too opted for the same look for the Royal wedding. Yes, ladies, Meghan wore an Essie nail polish, in the shade Ballet Slippers on her wedding day. And might I say, it looked royal and sophisticated (just like it does on the Queen).
Apart from the nail colour specifications, Meghan made it a point to follow royal protocol to the T (and we mean for her manicure here). Royal protocol states that women must have clean, groomed nails with no bright colour or any kind of nail art, and Meghan did just that!
