Remember how braids were so uncool when we had to put them on for school? But now our favourite Bollywood actresses are making braids cool by giving it their own twist (pun intended). It’s one of those hairstyles that gets an uber chic upgrade with the passing of time but is still a classic. Sometimes though it is so refreshing to see our favourite B-Town divas rocking a classic three-part braid with their ethnic ensembles.
Recently, Karisma Kapoor attended a Women’s Day event wearing Anamika Khanna saree layered with a cape jacket. Karisma’s hair and make-up artist Kritika Gill rounded up her look with bright pink lips and a classic three-part braid.
A few days back, Karisma had worn an upgraded version of the three-part braid. She tucked her braid in a bun. Similarly, Shilpa Shetty Kundra wore a brocade saree with side braid tied in her bun. Although Shilpa added gajra to her bun to enhance the ethnicity of her look. She rounded up her look with smokey eyes, bold eyeliner and nude lips.
