The new version of Madhuri Dixit’s Ek Do Teen from Baaghi 2 has received a lot of backlash from the people, especially the Twitterati. Many fans were just bored of remixes (who needs another one?) while others were just not feeling it.
#EkDoTeen Madhuri Dixit’s toenail had better expressions than Jacqueline.

Madhuri Dixit‘s ‘Ek-Do-Teen’ was epitome of elegance, Her flawless dancing skills & unmatchable expressions were the soul of that song. There was no need of giving that song to Jacqueline Fernandez, it is totally unfair to her skills & our sense organs.

While Madhuri has been silent (and is rumoured to be ignoring Jacqueline’s texts), choreographer Saroj Khan has finally spoken on Jacqueline‘s Ek Do Teen.
She says, “I’m extremely happy and proud of Ahmed (Khan) and Ganesh (Acharya) for paying us a tribute through this song. They have all my blessings.”
This comment came after Tezaab‘s director, N Chandra had referred to the new version as a “sex act” He’d even mentioned taking legal action against Team Baaghi but things seem to be simmering down. Not to forget, he even went on to reveal how Khan was so upset with the remix version that she apparently went on to express her worry at Sridevi’s funeral. In fact, Saroj Khan was supposed to be party to the lawsuit against the remix track. Seems like someone did a 180 degree spin on that plot! Do we smell prejudice? Or is it simply a brand of Salman Khan nepotism?
Before Saroj Khan, Salman Khan and Anil Kapoor (who was the lead in Tezaab) have also supported the new version of the cult classic.
Loved d song, Jackie has done full justice 2 d legendary moves of Saroj khan difficult to match Madhuri. Nice 2 see Varun n Jackie to our songs makes us proud n keeps d songs alive n fans listening, dancing n having a blast. Makes me proud . Enjoy Karo !https://t.co/qQ6nfnSAD1
