After a lot of thorough research and understanding, I decided to finally buy into the hype and let me just say I do not regret it one bit. Before we get into the glorious reasons why you should invest in a facial brush, let’s get the basics out of the way! Cleansing brushes are basically plastic or silicone brushes that either vibrate or rotate to aid cleansing. They usually come with a detachable brush head and some come with different intensity settings. They can be used with your usual cleanser.

Things To Keep In Mind
Store In A Dry Place
The great part about these brushes is that they can be used in the shower as well, but don’t store it in the shower. Store it in a box or in a cabinet where it isn’t covered in water all the time to avoid mildew and the funky smell.
Clean It Thoroughly
If you are using the brush to cleanse off make-up, make sure you use mild soap or detergent to clean the brush head properly after. A little trick that I like to use is that I clean it in the shower immediately after I am done and then I use a hair dryer to semi-dry the bristles before storing it.

Don’t Go Nuts Once You Get It
Once you use it, you will want to use it all the time for the way it makes your skin feel. But you need to ease up a little. Use it once a day if you have normal skin. If you have sensitive skin then using it thrice a week would be a better option. I have normal skin so I use it once a day as a part of my night-time routine to take the day off.
Avoid If You Have Any Active Acne Or Burns
Just don’t use it for the week if you have any active breakouts or have a sunburn; generally, avoid use if you have irritated skin because the exfoliation will aggravate the irritation further.
