Of all the months, February is my favourite. One, the weather is the perfect blend of ‘sunny’ and ‘windy’. Two, the evening sky shows hues of the dreamiest lilac. Three, gardens appear greener with contrasting red blooms in the foreground. And last but MOST important, it’s my birthday month (yay!). I am a Piscean and I approve that order. But what doubled my birthday month joy is finding out that Alia Bhatt is a Pisces girl too! And then it struck me – she and I share a mutual love for music, beaches, sleep and Katrina Kaif… Of course, we’re zodiac twins!

Singers, dancers, painters, writers, we Pisceans are talent ridden individuals. It is said that we reek of creativity and have a thing for all things artsy. Well, so far so good. All it takes is a fancy scarf or a pair of quirky earrings for us to bring our creative passions forth.

2. Alone Time, Best Time
We don’t always need a crowd to keep us company. Leave us to our thoughts and we’re one playlist away from having the time of our lives. A cool pair of earphones is a handbag-must for when we want to think (and, sometimes, ignore people too).

3. Can *Literally* Live In Water
We are a water sign, duh! Whether it’s swimming, adventurous water sports, beach vacations or just a romantic evening paddle-boating at the lake, we love it all. You’ll never find a true Piscean without a swimsuit in her closet.

4. Love To Sleep
Sleeping isn’t just routine, it’s a hobby. Even endless cups of tea or coffee can’t stop us from taking a quick snooze wherever we are, just because we can. After all, when the mind is at rest, the mind is at its best. Always prepared with a chic eye mask because you never know when you might need an emergency nap.

5. It’s Easy To Fall In Love
We tend to get attached too quickly and from here to falling in love is a short distance. Our empathetic nature makes us sentimental but, hey, it’s easy for us to fall out of love too. Whether it’s our boyfriend or our pet, we’re always loaded with mushy jammies to cuddle with them in.

6. Weird And Proud
Shouty capitals are how we roll, whether it’s with our texts or on our t-shirts. And a little bit of pretension never hurt anyone anyway. Give us a pair of basic jeans + a slogan tee and we’ll pull it off like there’s no tomorrow. This is the kind of splurge we like.

7. Overly Attached People
Yes, it’s our ‘emotional’ bit I’m talking about here. We feel, and we feel deep. Whether it’s a cute dog we saw two days ago or an amazing skirt we didn’t buy at the mall, things leave a mark on us. But I guess it’s okay to be sensitive, right?
8. Sometimes, A Mumma’s Girl
Not a very popular trait among most Pisceans, but for some of us, our mom is all the therapy we need. Wear a kurta that matches your mom’s and she’ll be the happiest with your outfit, at least on the day of! When mom’s happy, we are happy.

9. Sunshine > Rains
While everyone else goes crazy with joy the moment it starts to rain, I sit on my desk sulking alone. Alia and I are total sunshine kids. That’s why I usually carry big, roomy bags so there’s extra room for my umbrella too.

10. We’re The Dreamers
Known as the ‘dreamers’ of the Zodiac club, there’s no distinction between reality and fantasy for us Pisceans. The most imaginative of the signs, the sky is (literally) the limit. When we look up, we don’t see clouds but a bright sun shining on us. You’ll always find a pair of sunglasses in our bag.
