Ever heard of ‘bromance’? Yes, no, maybe? Well, it’s a word we use to define the undying love between two guy friends. But well, why should boys have all the fun, right?! At a recent event, Anushka Sharma and Alia Bhatt got together on stage and showed everybody what female bromance is all about.
They were literally inseparable, they danced and sang together and clearly had a lot of fun. Alia, who couldn’t make it to Anushka and Virat Kohli’s star-studded reception in Mumbai, took this occasion to congratulate Anushka. Not just that, she even gifted her something really special.
She said:
“Congratulations Anushka for getting married. Also, I couldn’t attend your wedding since I was travelling but this is my gift to you.”
We are sure you’re eager to find out what the wedding gift was, right? Well, Alia sang the title track of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil for the new bride. And if that wasn’t enough, the two even danced together! Take a look:
Alia played a cameo in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and we totally loved her sweet gesture for Anushka.
Apart from the song, both ladies danced on ‘Ainvayi Ainvayi’, the hit track from Anushka’s movie Band Baaja Baraat. Their light moments and constant masti were a treat to watch, given that both Anushka and Alia are always full of energy!
Alia and Anushka have always maintained a great rapport with each other. Even though Alia was travelling when Virushka hosted their Mumbai reception, she did not miss the chance to send her best wishes to the power couple on Twitter. Here’s what she shared:

And now, coming to their stunning looks for the event. We just couldn’t help but swoon over how pretty they looked in their respective outfits. While Anushka picked a gorgeous yellow embroidered suit from the house of Anita Dongre, Alia went for a black floor-length embroidered anarkali from the same designer’s kitty. And we have to say, they looked ethereal.
In this time of competition and animosity, it’s so refreshing and satisfying to see two ladies from the same profession have so much love and admiration for each other. You go Alia and Anushka!
