So it was not a big surprise that their wedding had a decadent menu platter. And to be completely honest, what’s a Punjabi wedding without some lip smacking food.
Fresh Porcini Mushroom
Renowned Chef Ritu Dalmia was the in-charge of the food at the wedding. The owner of Cittamani restaurant in Milan, dished out quite a variety of delicacies for the guests. According to India Today, the menu served Italian food with an Indian tadka and included exotic dishes such as porcini mushrooms wrapped in Bikaneri roti and stuffed ravioli with paneer khurchan. Oh and they even had their personal favourite ‘rabdi’ for dessert!
We all know that Italian cooking doesn’t involve complicated seasoning and that’s where the customizations were crucial. You can’t quite imagine a true Punjabi wedding without their masaledaar khana, no? We are sure everybody had their plates full!
