With Virushka’s hush-hush wedding, our shaadi goals have moved from big fat weddings to a romantic fairytale one. From Anushka’s boho Mehendi look to Virat’s chilled out Punjabi boy ensemble, everything has taken a lead. We’ve spoken enough about the actress being the prettiest bride of the year with her Sabyasachi outfits and no make-up look. Although, that doesn’t mean we haven’t noticed the handsome cricketer, who was not only the cutest but also, one of the most stylish groom. Virat Kohli kept his looks classic and comfy but made sure his outfits complement all of Anushka Sharma’s looks. Apart from being the bridegroom of the hour, he’s also the perfect example for a dapper groom-to-be and here are a few tricks you can borrow from his style.
Yellow Kurta at Haldi!
Call it cliché but Virat wore the perfect colour, a short kurta with white pyjama, at the ceremony and looked great. The cricketer added a pink and gold silk dupatta to give this look an edge.

Red Jacket for Mehendi!
For Mehendi, he opted for a signature khadi kurta churidar with a fuchsia pink textured silk Nehru jacket detailed with the Sabyasachi house blazer buttons. A custom tan leather jutti with a zardozi crest was created for his ensemble. It was more like, another colour added to Anushka’s boho look.
POPxo Recommends: ETCH Red Nehru Jacket (Rs 4,399)
Blue Suit at Engagement Eve
The captain of the blue team chose to be the man in the blue suit for his engagement. The couple chose solid complimenting royal blue pantsuit against Anushka’s maroon velvet saree for the evening event. He wore it with a classic white shirt and black waistcoat. Added accents: tie in sky blue and floral brooch.

Pastel Pink & Gold on the Wedding Day!
We have to say, white long kurta churidar with golden embroidery on it is a handsome choice to make but a pastel pink dupatta with a golden border can add royalty to the look and Virat is the proof! He wore his wedding look with beige juttis.
POPxo Recommends: Sanwara Cream-Coloured Kurta Churidar (Rs 1,574)
