And if you are a fan of mehendi as much as we are, then we have got all the inside scoop from Anushka’s mehendi artist Tasneem Kamruddin.
Tasneem is a London-based mehendi professional who has mastered the craft of mehendi application since the past 25 years! She along with three of her co-artists were the masters behind Anushka’s beautiful mehendi design. Tasneem was first approached by Anushka’s wedding planner six weeks before the wedding, which even required her to fly down to Tuscany, Italy. Talking about the intricate mehendi design, Tasneem says, “The mehendi I did for Anushka had intricate details with a simple look. There was no theme as such. Anushka briefed me before I started and she didn’t want any heavy design. Her mehendi had small flowers, paisley, leaves and small strokes with dots, designs with a simple look. She even wanted symmetrical designs for both her hands, which took four hours altogether.”
“Anushka was a very relaxed and humble bride, bubbly and charming even in real life. She was very happy with the designs, especially on her palms and fingers,” Tasneem shared.
