After making headlines for days, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma got married in Tuscany. While we’re stoked for the couple, Anushka’s muted make-up and stately hairdos got our attention.

Instead of opting for a very high bun — which is what most brides to add volume, hairstylist Georgiou Gabriel opted for a bun that rested right on the nape of her neck. The highlight of her hairdo, however, had to be the flowers in her hair.
Instead of opting for roses, Gabriel opted for fresh hydrangeas in two tones of pink. While the lighter shades were placed around the bun, Anushka also sported a brighter bloom in the centre of her bun.
Steering away from loose strands and flyways, the hairdo did a great job of keeping Anushka’s maathapatti in the spotlight.
If you look closely, there seems to be a sense of consistency that has been followed through the functions. Even on the day of engagement, Anushka kept it minimal with a nude lip and a subtle smokey eye. Her bun was a constant though, but with a middle parting this time.
No wonder Virat can’t get enough of her.
