The wedding celebrations of the hottest couple in town are on their last leg. We’ve been waiting for Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma’s Mumbai reception and it’s finally happening.
After a lot of speculation about the designer, make-up artist and predictions about her look, we can finally say that she’s surprised us all with her look for the reception today. After sporting a boho look on her Mehendi, a beautiful pastel lehenga on the wedding and a traditional Banarasi saree at her Delhi reception, Anushka was seen in an embroidered tulle lehenga, designed by Sabyasachi.
We feel that Anushka’s look for her B-Town reception at St. Regis Mumbai is both young and fresh. It’s perfect for the bride who needs to be on her feet all night but needs to be the centre of attention in star-studded celebration at the same time.
Getting Into The Details
Anushka, predictably, is wearing a smoky grey Sabyasachi lehenga that is worlds away from the Banarasi saree that she was wearing for her Delhi reception. Looking pretty as a princess, she has accessorised the lehenga with a diamond necklace, stud earrings and a chooda.
Hair & Make-Up
For her make-up, the actress, has stuck to her motto of keeping it simple. With a matte, minimal base, she chose a brown smokey eye look and nude lips. She’s definitely giving all brides-to-be a lesson about how less is more when it comes to make-up for your wedding.
But her hair-do today is a break from her other wedding looks. Instead of a tight bun, this time she’s gone for side-swept waves that seem to suit her just as much as the previous hairdos did.
Her hair, make-up and jewellery go perfectly with the Jazz-inspired look. We’re digging it just as much as her other looks. Anushka just does not disappoint!
Virat wore a navy blue Raghavendra Rathore Bandhgala and Jodhpuri trousers. The couple looked nothing less than royalty which they surely are!
