8 Bollywood Movie Scenes That Are SO Worth Recreating!

We love everything Bollywood and especially while planning a vacation, we aspire to visit locations where some of our favourite films were shot. If you’re a Bollywood movies buff, then you will understand the awesome feeling of recreating a great scene with your family or BFFs or even your bae at the exact location where it was shot! One such location we all dream about visiting is London. So we got together with our friends at ezeego1 to bring you 8 such scenes all shot in London. All you’ve got to do is #GetOut.

1. London Eye scene – London Paris New York

This movie gives us some serious travel goals and it might get tough to actually choose only one scene from it. The scene that we absolutely want to recreate is the one where Lalitha stands in front of the London Eye and shouts out “I’m soaking up the sun in Central London! God pinch me!” And guess who pinches her? 😀

2. Ho Gaya Hai Tujhko Toh Pyaar Sajna – DDLJ

One of our favourite Raj-Simran scenes from DDLJ is the one shot at King’s Cross Station. When Raj declines Simran’s invitation to her wedding and exits the scene silently, Simran finally realises how she feels about him (na janey mere dil ko kya ho gaya..*sigh*). You can visit King’s Cross Station even if you don’t have a train to catch and who knows, you might find your true love too!

3. Vande Mataram – Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham

Another classic from the early 2000s, K3G has tugged on all our heartstrings with its storyline. But leaving all the sad parts aside, wouldn’t you love to recreate some of the epic scenes from this movie? Like the scenes from this song which shows Hrithik going all over London, looking for his long-lost brother. You don’t need to lose a sibling for this, though! You can simply take this trip with your sibling or family members and take pictures in all the locations shown here. Psst…travel hack – you can get awesome sightseeing packages from online travel companies like ezeego1.

4. Madame Tussauds scene – Fan

No, you don’t have to become a psychotic, obsessive, stalker “fan” for this! You can visit Madame Tussauds in London like a normal person and pose next to SRK’s wax statue. There are many other Bollywood stars’ wax statues there, including Katrina Kaif and Hrithik Roshan!

5. Twist – Love Aaj Kal

Not sure any of us can ever have as civilised a breakup as Jai and Meera did in this movie, but we can always try! If you’re in the post-breakup phase, you can totally go dancing like Jai (Saif) does in this song. If partying is not your scene, you can still visit the Leadenhall Market which is the Victorian building where Saif parks his car at the beginning of the song. The market is full of pubs and restaurants as well as apparel stores.

6. Andekhi Anjaani – Mujhse Dosti Karoge

This sweet romantic drama of 2002 was a hit in its time and had many catchy songs like this one. One of the most iconic scenes in this song is the one shot at Kingston, in front of the toppled telephone booths. The twelve telephone booths which look like toppled dominoes form an installation art piece for which Kingston is quite well-known. You can do some weird Hrithik-dance steps once you reach there or simple pose and pout like him 🙂

7. Daaru Desi – Cocktail

A large part of this movie is filmed in London and our favourite scene is the one shot in Borough Market, shown in the first part of this song. You can visit this famous food market with your travel buddies and chase each other with fish or you can simply enjoy some of the freshest dairy products and baked goods.

8. Saans – Jab Tak Hai Jaan

Our favourite scene from this movie is the one in front of Somerset House, which is an exhibition hall in Central London. The lovestruck couple dance around the city and end up prancing in the fountains of Somerset House. They seem to get into a bit of trouble at the end of this scene, but this won’t be the case if you visit during working hours/day time!
