Those silvery lines can be the bane of any girl’s existence. Yes, they’re a common side effect of pregnancy, but they also develop during puberty or thanks to weight gain or loss – and they appear anywhere from your butt to your breasts to your thighs, tummy or upper arms. Stretch marks can really mess with a girl’s self-confidence, which is why we give you a few homemade scrubs to help them disappear. Try these regularly to banish those pesky lines for good!
1. Sugar, Sugar
Sugar is one of the best exfoliators around; it’s also moisturizing and helps increase blood flow to the areas with the stretch marks.
Step 1: Mix 1 part olive oil with 2 parts sugar. Add a couple of drops of an essential oil like lavender to it if you like.
Step 2: Massage it onto wet skin for a few minutes and rinse. Do this twice a week.

Coffee makes a great scrub for stretch marks as well as for cellulite since it contains a chemical that tightens skin as well as lightens marks.
Step 1: Grind coffee beans with a bit of warm water to make a paste.
Step 2: Mix it with aloe vera gel.
Step 3: Massage it on the area and then get a warm cloth or towel and gently scrub the area for a good 15 minutes.
Step 4: Wash off and follow it up with a moisturizer. Do this daily for effective results.
3. When Life Gives You Lemons…
Use them to get rid of stretch marks! The acid in lemon juice helps fades marks and scars.
Step 1: Squeeze the juice from some lemons. (You can add some cucumber juice to it too if you like)
Step 2: Gently massage it on the stretch marks for a good 10 minutes before washing it off with warm water.
Step 3: Moisturize after.
4. Potayto-Potahto
Potato juice is rich in minerals and vitamins that promote the restoration and growth of new skin cells.
Step 1: Cut a thick slice of a potato.
Step 2: Gently rub the slice on the area affected by stretch marks for a few minutes.
Step 3: Rinse with warm water once the juice dries.
5. Getting Eggy With It
Egg whites are super rich in amino acids and proteins, making them a great stretch mark buster.
Step 1: Crack an egg and separate the whites. Use a fork to whip it.
Step 2: Wash the area clean and apply a thick layer of the egg whites.
Step 3: Once it’s completely dry, wash it off with cool water. Do this daily for a couple weeks for noticeable results.
6. Cool Castor Oil
Castor oil is well known to treat a number of skin problems like dark spots, fine lines and even stretch marks.
Step 1: Massage castor oil onto the area for about 5 to 10 minutes.
Step 2: Now wrap the area with a thin cotton cloth and sit back and relax while you apply some heat to it with a heating pad for 30 minutes. Do this daily or as often as you can.
7. All About Aloe
Aloe vera is rich in collagen, which helps heal the skin as well as tighten it. You can use aloe vera extracted from the leaf or buy aloe vera gel.
Step 1: Massage the gel onto your skin for a few minutes.
Step 2: Leave it on for a couple hours to allow it to get absorbed before rinsing off. Do this regularly.
